Much represented Cold Bore Capital and its portfolio company, American Landscaping Partners, in connection with its sale to Shoreline Equity Partners. Chicago-based Cold Bore Capital is a veteran-led private equity firm with a focus on repositioning and growing micro-cap companies in high-growth industries. The sale of American Landscaping Partners to Shoreline Equity Partners creates a new strategic partnership of leading local operators with a focus on customer service and quality.
Much Co-Chairman Mitchell Roth, along with principals David Pilotto and Andrew Silver, led the transaction along with support from Reid Fulkerson, Tom Skelly, Julia Turk, Joel Resnick, Matt Feery, and Jason Rosenthal.
“We are thrilled to lead our client as they leverage their assets in the greater framework of a very sophisticated M&A strategy,” Roth said.
Much has worked with Cold Bore Capital, a longtime firm client, on several platform and add-on deals as part of its long-term business strategy. The Much team led the initial platform acquisition of American Landscaping Partners as well as add-on acquisitions including Fairfield Construction, C & G Turf Management, Impullitti Landscaping, Turfscape, and others.
The sale, which officially closed on August 7, 2023, underscores Shoreline Equity Partners’ mission to actively partner with leading management teams to provide value for shareholders, employees, customers, vendors, and the communities they serve.
