Jason Rosenthal, chair of Much’s Commercial Litigation group, sat down for a video interview with <em>Business Insurance</em> to discuss a recent amendment to the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). In the interview, Rosenthal explained background information on and several key issues with BIPA. He also analyzed the new amendment, noting that companies in Illinois can remain vigilant by putting proper policy and written consent in place if they intend to collect biometric information from their employees.
