Jason Rosenthal Talks BIPA Compliance with Insurance Journal

Jason Rosenthal, chair of Much’s Commercial Litigation group, spoke with Insurance Journal to provide a 2025 outlook on the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). He noted that while BIPA litigation will likely continue to subside, it is important for companies to remain compliant with the statute by paying close attention to what constitutes biometric information, when compliance is necessary, and when to contact legal counsel if compliance is in question.
