Jonathan Friedland Recognized in Law360’s List of Essential Bankruptcy Books

Jonathan Friedland, principal in Much’s Restructuring, Insolvency & Special Situations group, was included among the authors in Law360’s list of six essential bankruptcy books. Friedland was recognized for his work on Strategic Alternatives for and Against Distressed Businesses and Commercial Bankruptcy Litigation, two treatises for which he served as principal author and editor-in-chief. Published by Thomson Reuters and updated annually, the books serve as resources for any bankruptcy and insolvency professionals who are involved in Chapter 11 issues.

“Both books [by Friedland] are excellent resources for a neophyte as well as for an experienced practitioner,” said James H.M. Sprayregen, the founder of the restructuring practice at Kirkland & Ellis. “I keep them on my desk and regularly refer to them; they are fairly dog-eared at this point.”
