Neil Posner Appointed as Co-Chair of ABA Subcommittee on Attorney Professional Liability

Neil Posner has been appointed as co-chair of the Attorneys’ Liability Subcommittee of the American Bar Association (ABA) Litigation Section’s Professional Liability Litigation Committee. Posner, an experienced leader in the area of attorneys’ liability, regularly writes about professional responsibility and legal ethics and speaks at seminars around the country.

Posner, chair of Much’s Policyholders’ Insurance group, focuses his practice on insurance recovery and dispute resolution, risk management, loss prevention, and cost containment. He counsels policyholders on all types of insurance coverage disputes, through negotiation, litigation, and other forms of dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration, and settlement.

“I am grateful to the ABA for recognizing my longstanding commitment to educating lawyers on managing their professional liability risks,” Posner said. “I look forward to helping lead this subcommittee of esteemed attorneys.”

The Professional Liability Litigation Committee provides a forum for litigators who prosecute or defend claims and regulatory proceedings against attorneys, accountants, and directors and officers to inform themselves on recent developments in the area of professional liability. The Attorneys’ Liability Subcommittee focuses on protecting lawyers from malpractice or negligence claims.
