Much is proud to announce that Neil Posner, chair of the firm's Policyholders' Insurance Coverage practice, has been named chairman of the Jewish Child & Family Services (JCFS) Board of Directors.
JCFS strives to enhance the social and emotional well-being of individuals and families with complex needs and to maximize potential for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Serving more than 32,000 individuals across Chicagoland each year, the organization provides vital, therapeutic and supportive services for children, adults and families of all backgrounds who face challenges with life transitions, mental health and basic human need.
At Much, Neil focuses on insurance recovery and dispute resolution, risk management, loss prevention and cost containment. He also regularly counsels nonprofit boards of directors on fiduciary duty, strategic planning and leadership development. Neil serves as outside general counsel for JCFS and recently worked with other Much attorneys on a pro bono real estate transaction for the organization.
