It's not just lip service. Our culture of service includes a firmwide focus on social responsibility that we call Much Community.
From personal causes to firmwide efforts, we believe in the importance of giving back and never tire of rolling up our sleeves to serve others.
We're proud that many of our attorneys and staff serve in leadership roles in organizations of importance to them. You'll spot Much team members contributing their time and talent to a variety of organizations, such as The Gender Cool Project, The Goodman Theatre, Jewish United Fund, and Make-A-Wish.
“Supporting our community by taking on pro bono projects is and always has been engrained in the ethos of our firm. We are proud of our commitment, as it is a testament to our passion for volunteerism. Service is a core value at Much, and we look forward to continuing to serve for years to come.”

Pro bono services for those who need them most.
We give back by lending our legal talents to the community, whether through our support of organizations such as Chicago Volunteer Legal Services or by serving as general counsel for nonprofit organizations such as Children’s Oncology Services. For 15 consecutive years, Much has been named by the Public Interest Law Initiative to the organization's Pro Bono Recognition Roster, which honors law firms for their pro bono contributions to individuals and the community at large.

Service that stands out.
No one is more passionate about social responsibility than our firm's co-chairman David Brown. In 2012, in recognition of his ongoing commitment to philanthropy, Much established an annual award that bears his name. Each year, one attorney and one staff member are honored for their ongoing dedication to the community, and the firm makes a donation to each recipient's charitable organization of choice.
