Alexandra is a member of Much’s Intellectual Property practice and represents clients in a range of intellectual property-related legal matters. Her background includes in-house experience managing global trademark portfolios for multinational corporations in financial services and pharmaceuticals, in addition to a robust commercial and IP-focused transactional practice. With in-depth experience supporting a wide range of client matters, ranging from SaaS, technology procurement, marketing and promotions, and data privacy, Alexandra counsels clients in the areas of technology acquisition, advertising and marketing, brand management, procurement, and online law.
With an in-depth knowledge of domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement strategies, as well as legal developments in both the United States and European Union, Alexandra guides clients through the entire brand management lifecycle to drive performance and achieve their business goals. Possessing a unique vantage point working for multinational companies and highly matrixed corporations, including S&P 500 and an Am Law 100 firm, Alexandra consistently serves as a trusted partner to business clients on issues involving copyright, media, advertising, and technology licensing. In addition, she manages and designs in-house corporate trademark functions, drafts and negotiates IP and commercial contracts, including trademark coexistence and consent, license agreements, NDAs, master service agreements, influencer agreements, software and SaaS agreements.
Prior to joining Much, Alexandra co-founded Banas Svensson Legal in Chicago, utilizing her international trademark experience to deliver winning IP strategies and practical in-house counsel services to her clients in the consumer goods, financial services, health care, food and beverage, and personal care industries. Alexandra previously served as in-house counsel for Charles Schwab and global pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk.
