Nick advises clients on a broad range of real estate tax matters related to commercial, industrial, residential, and mixed-use developments. He is well-versed in all levels of ad valorem appeal in Illinois, working with owners throughout the Chicagoland area to minimize the assessment and real estate taxes on their properties.

To leverage the full potential of his clients' real estate assets, Nick draws on his experience in tax assessment valuations, incentive classifications, tax exemptions, and tax increment financing (TIF). He has participated in the implementation of Class 6 and Class 9 incentive classifications in Cook County, as well as attained religious and charitable property tax exemptions for clients.

Nick practices before the Property Tax Appeal Board, as well as local assessors' offices and boards of review in Cook, DuPage, Jackson, Kane, Lake, LaSalle, Peoria, and Will counties.
